Welcome to the NFTE Assessment Home Page. Here you will find links to all of the online assessments and surveys used during the school year.

Start of Year Surveys

Instructions: The diagnostic assessment and pre-survey determines the background knowledge and attitudes towards entrepreneurship of students who just started the course. Students should take these two online assessments within thirty days of starting the NFTE course. Since these are ‘pre-surveys,’ there will be questions students do not know the answer to, but they should try to answer all questions to the best of their ability!

Unit Assessments

Instructions: The unit assessments are to be taken after completion of the corresponding chapters in the NFTE Entrepreneurship textbook. These assessments help teachers understand where students are at with understanding the content, and can help support students as they complete the business plan for that unit.

Unit 1: Opportunity Recognition & Business Structure

Chapters 1, 2, 6, 3, 5

Unit 2: Market Research

Chapters 7

Unit 3: Financial Information & Operations

Chapters 10, 11, 12, 13

Unit 4: Marketing & Sales

Chapters 4, 8, 9

End of Year Survey

Instructions: The summative assessment and post-survey determines how much the student has grown during the NFTE course. Students should take both of these assessments at the end of the year after the class has completed the business plan process and presentations.
