- NFTE was founded in 1987 by Steve Mariotti.
- Headquartered in New York City, NFTE has local offices in major metropolitan areas in the U.S., including metro New York City, Greater Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Fairchester (Fairfield Cty., CT and Westchester Cty., NY), Greater Washington D.C., Los Angeles, New England, New York metro area, Philadelphia, South Florida and the San Francisco Bay area. - Since its founding, NFTE has reached over 280,000 young people from low-income communities. We currently have more than 1,500 active Certified Entrepreneurship Teachers.
- NFTE currently has programs in 21 states and 12 countries
