Engaging & Innovating Real World Solutions

Sana Shah participated in NFTE's World Series of Innovation, and her team went on to win their category. The following is a short summary of how NFTE's programs are inspiring students to engage with their school work and innovate.

"I realize that AP is preparing me for more exciting endeavors such as Computer Programming 3 (CP3), where you actually get to program real products such as a game or an app and sell them on a marketplace. I got a taste of that this year when I participated in the NFTE World Series of Innovation competition.  It was really cool because my team, JANSI, designed a mobile game called ‘Envision’ that will assist high school students in identifying their talents and choosing their careers, without a boring survey." This is a great opportunity

This is a great opportunity for our students and reminds me of my career path, too. From business to education. Great article and opportunity for our students. Thank you Mr. Tim Lakey.
