Dr. Elizabeth Kim

Elizabeth joined NFTE as the Director of Research and Analytics in June 2022. She has been in the field of educational data research and analytics for over 10 years, working at Johns Hopkins University, DC Public School’s Central Office, and an international youth serving non-profit organization prior to her time at NFTE. Her research has been focused on non-cognitive skills and youth workforce development using both qualitative and quantitative methods. At NFTE, Elizabeth provides strategic direction and technical expertise to data analytics and research, which includes ensuring data collection is consistent and streamlined, NFTE produces evidence and original research on the effectiveness of its programs, and NFTE shares these findings with the broader community. Elizabeth has a B.A. in English from U.C. Berkeley, an M.Ed from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Education from Johns Hopkins University.
