Jaidyn Cox, an 18-year-old Beloit native who is blind in his right eye, says paying for custom frames was out of the question for him. So he went about creating a solution, Refractical. Cox’s startup 3D prints glasses frames for less than $10. He hopes to one day sell them for a fraction of the cost of market frames. The idea punched him a ticket to New York City for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship’s (NFTE) 2022 National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge.
