North Carolina high school student advances in Shark Tank-style competition

A North Rowan High School student, Natalie Zanudo, placed among the top competitors at the NFTE Southeast Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge. She qualified to advance to the national level of competition and will pitch her business Candor Skin at the National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge this fall.

OKC Student Advances to National Competition

Emily Ortiz, a student at Oklahoma City’s Cristo Rey Catholic School, took honors in a regional pitch competition with her business R&M Pet Spray, which helps to fight odor in pets. Now she qualifies to compete this fall in NFTE’s National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge.

Tucker, a sophomore at Flagler Palm Coast High School, placed as runner-up in the annual NFTE Southeast Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge finals and qualified to advance to the next round of competition. She’ll have a chance to pitch her business at the NFTE National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge this fall.
