The World Series of Innovation (WSI) is a free, online global competition that challenges young people (ages 5-24) to design bold solutions to today’s biggest issues. Each challenge is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and sponsored by leading companies committed to creating a more sustainable and equitable world.

Using the design thinking process, participants will explore problems, brainstorm creative ideas, test solutions, and refine their concepts.

Participants Will:

  • Develop entrepreneurial and problem-solving skills
  • Tackle real-world issues in creative ways
  • Compete for prizes and recognition
  • Use the design thinking process (empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test) to shape and refine ideas
  • Join a global community of changemakers

Who Should Join

  • Students ages 5-24 looking to innovate and compete
  • Educators, parents, and mentors supporting student teams
  • Community leaders and sponsors who believe in youth-led change

Bonus: The school or organization with the most submissions will also receive a small prize to further support innovation at their school.
