Intuit for Education is a free and flexible financial literacy program that uses practical tools to teach students about finances and help them build financial confidence.

During Financial Literacy Month this April, Intuit for Education is moving beyond the traditional classroom setting. They’re making learning more interactive and hands-on with the Intuit Hour of Finance™ Challenge.

What’s the Intuit Hour of Finance™ Challenge?

This FREE nationwide program challenges schools to spend at least one hour learning about budgeting through a financial literacy challenge. Plus, eligible schools can win prizes, too.*

The challenge is a fantastic opportunity for your students to learn valuable financial concepts, such as saving and budgeting, which will set them up for success in their future careers.

What makes this challenge important?

Money skills are essential in today’s world. Knowing how money works and how to manage it well can really change a person’s life for the better. Because it’s not just about saving pennies—it’s about making smart decisions that will positively impact your future. In an Intuit Financial Education survey, 95% of students who currently receive financial curriculum found it helpful. With this challenge, your students will get the opportunity to learn valuable financial skills, such as saving money for college.

What makes the challenge enjoyable?

Learning about finances doesn’t have to be all spreadsheets. This challenge flips the script on financial education, so you can learn about money management in a way that’s both exciting and informative with easy-to-use curriculum and online games.

What are the benefits of participating in the challenge?
