The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) is proud to announce a new partnership with Global Atlantic Financial Group, which has awarded a generous grant in support of NFTE’s mission to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs and business leaders. This funding will directly support NFTE’s Aspiring Entrepreneurs Program, reaching over 60,000 students annually with in-school and out-of-school programming designed to cultivate entrepreneurial skills and inspire future careers in business ownership.
NFTE’s Aspiring Entrepreneurs Program provides a full pathway of educational experiences, equipping young people with the knowledge, skills, and mentorship needed to turn their ideas into successful ventures. With this grant, NFTE will be able to expand access to high-quality entrepreneurship education and continue to foster innovation and economic mobility for young learners from all backgrounds.
This partnership marks an exciting milestone as NFTE becomes the first youth-serving organization supported by Global Atlantic- a wholly-owned subsidiary of KKR. In addition to financial support, Global Atlantic is committed to engaging its employees as volunteers and mentors, offering real-world insights and guidance to NFTE students at every stage of their entrepreneurial journeys.
Global Atlantic’s corporate citizenship efforts align closely with its core values of teamwork, integrity, diversity, and stewardship. By supporting NFTE’s programming, Global Atlantic is investing in the potential of young entrepreneurs, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to succeed in an ever-changing economy.
“Nurturing essential business skills such as critical thinking, problem solving and adaptability empowers students to take ownership over their futures and pursue a broad range of careers,” said Pamela Alexander, Head of Corporate Citizenship at KKR, “Global Atlantic is proud to support the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship and the incredible work that they are doing to prepare our future leaders.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Global Atlantic Financial Group to the NFTE family,” said Dr. J.D. LaRock, President and CEO. “Their commitment to fostering entrepreneurship among young people will have a lasting impact, empowering students with the skills and confidence to pursue their passions.”
NFTE looks forward to an ongoing collaboration with Global Atlantic and the opportunity to inspire the next generation of trailblazers, job creators, and change-makers.
