In honor of Women’s History Month, the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) proudly recognizes the incredible women within our organization who embody the entrepreneurial mindset.  These individuals demonstrate the skills and qualities that enable entrepreneurs to identify opportunities, overcome challenges, and succeed in various settings.

At NFTE, we believe that an entrepreneurial mindset is a powerful tool for personal and professional growth. Our programs introduce students to entrepreneurial concepts and embed the domains of the entrepreneurial mindset into our curriculum, equipping them with the tools to assess and develop their own entrepreneurial mindset.

This March, we celebrate the following women at NFTE who exemplify the characteristics of the Entrepreneurial Mindset Index (EMI):

  1. Lauren Patrick, Lead Program Associate in the Midwest region, demonstrates Initiative & Self-Reliance.
  2. Liliana Pichardo, Director of Development and Strategic Partnerships, embodies Critical Thinking & Problem Solving.
  3. Suzanne Taylor, Director of Events, showcases Flexibility & Adaptability.
  4. Jane Walsh, Executive Vice President, exemplifies Comfort with Risk.
  5. Careline Romain, Development Director in the Southeast region, displays Future Orientation.
  6. Christine Ryan, Sr. Curriculum Development Manager, epitomizes Communication and Collaboration.
  7. Denise Berkhalter, National Director of Communications, personifies Opportunity Recognition.
