Western Mass News recently spotlighted Springfield, Massachusetts students as they shared their business ideas at the NFTE city-wide pitch competition. NFTE students Rachel Soto and Dayneris Rodriguez from Discovery High School won the competition with their business idea of flowers made from ribbons.
NFTE New England Sr. Program Manager Jennifer Green shared the impact of the NFTE program on students, noting that, “as long as they’re moving along in confidence and belief in their own ideas and the idea that they can actually generate value around them where value didn’t exist before, that, to me, is what success looks like in every single NFTE student,”
